Many babies also love having their arms out, enjoying the freedom of movement this position allows. And for most babies, back carries are the perfect opportunity for a nap&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A common question is what to do when the baby falls asleep in this position and their head starts tilting backward. Until one of us got bored and decided to take a nap (guess who?).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dvlp.babywearing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/molis_apokoimh9hke_sto_marsipo.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[342068]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"246\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-340184 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dvlp.babywearing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/molis_apokoimh9hke_sto_marsipo-246x300.jpg\" alt=\"Baby asleep in back carry\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dvlp.babywearing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/molis_apokoimh9hke_sto_marsipo-246x300.jpg 246w, https:\/\/dvlp.babywearing.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/molis_apokoimh9hke_sto_marsipo.jpg 349w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 246px) 100vw, 246px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Morpheus\u2019 embrace isn\u2019t quite as comfy as mom\u2019s! Since her arms were out, her head ended up tilting back. That\u2019s something we need to fix!<\/p>\n<p>The solution is to gently tuck the baby\u2019s arms back inside the mei tai, so their head is supported. It needs to be carefully designed: if the angle is too small, the baby can\u2019t comfortably get their arms out; if it\u2019s too large, the carrier may slip from the wearer\u2019s shoulders and feel insecure.
